York Farmers Market – 10th Anniversary Celebration Market – 19th September 2009

We are celebrating the 10th Anniversary of York Farmers Market. There will be a special spit roast, loads of samples to try and a rolling prize draw of produce with Flying Man Lemon Curd and Chutney as prizes!

It's Bank Holiday weekend so what better place to to go than this busy farmshop. I will be sampling there all day so come along and meet me!

It’s Race’s Day in York and I am sampling again at this trendy York Deli. I shall be promoting my Gold Star award winning lemon curd so come along for some tasters.

I am back again at Manor Farm Shop. This is the same day as the Driffield Farmers Market so I am hoping to catch lots of trade. Come along for some tasters. 

3rd July 2009, ITV Granada Studios, Burley Road, Leeds

ITV Granada Studios have asked me to come and sample my jams just before they are launched in the new Home Farm Shop on Emmerdale aired on the 6th July. This should be great fun and I hope to get lots of feedback from the Emmerdale characters which will be posted on the website. 

28th June 2009, Castle Howard, Nr York. 

For a perfect summer’s day out come to Castle Howard and enjoy the tranquil setting, beautiful surroundings and idyllic countryside. I will be sampling there all day so come and enjoy and try my beautiful jams and preserves. 

27th June 2009, Keelham Hall Farm Shop, Bradford. 

Keelham Hall Farm Shop attracts more than 6,000 customers a week so I am very excited to have been invited to launch the Flying Man range of jams and preserves. Lots of tasters, so see there. 

24th June 2009, – Yorkshire County Cricket Club 

agreed to take the full range of samples of my jams and preserves and pass them to the team and officials for their feedback. The response back has been amazing. One of the Commercial Managers said that a jam frenzy has occurred at Yorkshire County Cricket Club and they can’t get enough of it. I am just waiting for more feedback which will be posted on the website soon. Watch this space.

I love this market. It’s busy and bustling and has a great atmosphere. Come and try my gorgeous jams and preserves.

A very busy Sunday market with lots of unusual speciality stalls from chocolate to home made crusty bread and scones. So, what more do you need than a lovely jar of jam! Come and enjoy the atmosphere of this bustling market. 

6th June 2009, Ashby’s Deli, 68 Tadcaster Road, York. 

A friend told me about Ashby’s Deli and I am glad they did. This lovely Deli has an Italian theme running through it and they loved my local jams when I presented them. Come and enjoy a morning of sampling at Ashby’s and taste my beautiful products. 

31st May 2009, The Farm Shop & Café, Wigginton Road York Y032 2RH 

The Farm Shop & Café at Wigginton Road invited me to their Second Anniversary. This Farm Shop have taken my jams since August 2009 so it is good to be here and enjoy their well-deserved success. 

30th May 2009, Sunnyside, Wigginton, York 

This is a new Farm Shop in Wigginton beautifully decked out a nd the smell of freshly baked bread greets you at the door. Sunnyside have invited me to launch my range of jams and preserves so come and along and me meet there. 

23rd May 2009, Manor Farm Shop, Beverley Road, Hutton Cranswick, Driffield YO25 9PQ 

Manor Farm Shop is a really bustling Farm Shop on the edge of Driffield attracting not just locals and farmers but visitors coming from the coast. My jams are well established and have been here since September 2008 and are selling well. Today I am promoting my new Carmaelised Red Onion Chutney and I expect it will be a winner! 

16th May 2009, York Farmer’s Market, Murton, York 

This busy market and auction centre attracts not just the locals but lots of visitors. There is a really friendly atmosphere with the other traders and loads of laughter so come along and have some fun. There will be plenty of opportunity to sample my products. This is the day I am launched my new Caramelised Red Onion Chutney! The expansion to my range has caused a lot of interest. 

10th May 2009, All Saints’ Church, Pocklington. 

Another busy day of selling my jams. I expect I shall do a roaring trade.

9th May 2009, All Saints’ Church, Pocklington. 

This is the weekend of The Flying Man Festival and the home of the brand. I shall abseiling off the Church Tower in the morning and then selling my jams for charity with all proceeds going to the Church.

3rd May 2009, Leeds Farmers Market from 8.00 a.m.– 1.30pm. 

I am going to launched my new Caramelised Red Onion Chutney today. It’s simply delicious – come along and try it. 

28th March 2009, Fresh Food Deli in Pocklington. 

I love this Deli as this is where it all started. The staff are welcoming and friendly. This lovely Deli is nestled in the heart of Pocklington on the edge of the Wolds and full interesting and usual products. There are comfy sofas upstairs where you can relax and read the papers and on the way out you can sample my jams!
